Collas Crill acted for the beneficiary of three Guernsey trusts settled by very high profile individual. The applicant beneficiary was the adult child of the Settlor.

A non-contentious trust application was made with support of the trustee to obtain approval of the Court on behalf of minor and unborn beneficiaries to a series of complicated amendments to the various trusts, the purpose of which was to greatly enhance the succession planning and tax treatment of the trusts. Instructed to seek rigorous confidentiality and reporting restrictions in connection with the application in view of the public profile of the Settlor.

The Application was granted and the extensive privacy orders were made.
