Collas Crill acts for prominent Turkish family office

Collas Crill's Guernsey and BVI offices have recently acted in the acquisition of a Guernsey Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) on behalf of a prominent Turkish family office.

Collas Crill assisted with the Guernsey elements of a corporate restructure involving the "hive-up" of certain assets of the SPV. These included a prestigious real estate located at Mayfair, London.

The team at Collas Crill consisted of group partners Paul Wilkes and Ian Montgomery, senior associate Alex Wickens and associate Conor Walsh.

The firm's BVI and Guernsey offices also acted for two entities in relation to the same asset for a facility in excess of £10million from a major US Bank’s London Branch. This included the preparation of the relevant corporate authorisations and the negotiation of the local law security packages.
