Collas Crill has been listed as one of the Top 10 Global Offshore Law Firms by both The Lawyer and Legal Business magazine.
Both publications produce an annual ranking of the highest calibre offshore firms with The Lawyer listing the Top 30 and Legal Business focusing on the Top 10.
In both publications, Collas Crill has risen up the ranks to number nine in Legal Business and ranking in at number 10 in The Lawyer, overtaking Bedell Cristin.
Group Managing Partner, Jason Romer, said: "Both The Lawyer and Legal Business are two market leading publications that are highly regarded in the legal industry. To be positioned in the top 10 by these independent benchmarks has been part of our on-going strategy; our inclusion demonstrates that our client focus and continued expansion is paying off."
2016 was a strong year for the firm. Key developments for the firm included Collas Crill's merger with BVI firm Farara Kerins, expanding its network from its existing offices in Singapore, Cayman, London, Guernsey and Jersey, and the appointment of senior lawyer Stephen Adams to the firm's Singapore office.
Meanwhile, Partner Elena Moran's landmark case on State Immunity acting for Turkey-based construction company Tepe was quoted as a standout moment in 2016.
"As we grow our global footprint, we continue to deliver the highest level of legal advice for our clients across all our practice areas, reflected in the size, complexity and sometimes contentious nature of the cases we are being appointed to handle," said Jason.
This all comes shortly after the firm was recognised as a 'Firm to Watch' by Asian Legal Business, the only offshore firm to be included in the listing.
