Nuno Santos-Costa, Collas Crill's Jersey managing partner, has been successfully named in the inaugural Legal 500 Hall of Fame UK lawyers list.
Compiled by Legal 500, one of the world's leading guides to the best lawyers and law firms, the list aims to identify exceptional legal talent at the pinnacle of their profession. This Hall of Fame status is achieved as a result of consistently being praised by clients for at least 8 out of the last 10 years for continued excellence.
Having been recognised by Legal 500 as a "Leading Individual" for a number of years, the Hall of Fame accolade highlights Nuno's longstanding contribution and commitment to the Jersey legal scene.
As well as continuing to be involved in some of the biggest litigation disputes in the Channel Islands, Nuno is also a Crown Advocate, which allows him to present cases on behalf of Her Majesty’s Attorney General. This role allows Nuno to prosecute in high profile criminal cases, advise various departments of the Island's government (the States), and undertake investigations arising out of complaints against members of the Jersey Law Society. Few Advocates, whether in Jersey or in England, are able to work at the highest level of their profession in such a wide variety of areas and reflects why Nuno is both recognised as a "Leading Individual" and in the Hall of Fame.
Nuno said: "I am absolutely thrilled to have been included in Legal 500 Hall of Fame. I would like to thank my clients for their kind words and recommendations over the years, and importantly, for their continued support and trust in Collas Crill."
