Collas Crill has appointed Michael Evans as a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to its Knowledge Management team.
Michael joined the firm in September 2019. His role, working alongside Director Kate Stanfield and fellow PSL Kerrie Le Tissier, is to develop and maintain internal know-how and precedents, develop new systems and to keep abreast of legal and commercial updates to support partners and fee earners across all of the firm's offices and practice areas.
Having qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales in 2005, Michael has over 12 years' experience with leading law firms across London, Dubai, Dublin and Jersey.
While in private practice, he has advised on a wide range of corporate, banking and other finance transactions, and has a particular interest in leveraged finance, real estate finance, Islamic Finance and restructuring and insolvency matters.
Michael is ranked in the 2019 Legal 500 directory in Jersey for both corporate and banking and finance work.

Having recently passed the Jersey qualifying examination, Michael will be sworn in as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey in December 2019.
