With Collas Crill's continued strategic focus on the Middle East, we are delighted to announce that Trainee Solicitor Jack Harben has made the move from Jersey to Riyadh for a three month secondment with law firm AHH.
Collas Crill has a long history of serving clients in the MENA region with a region-specific team drawn from our private client, financing, corporate and litigation practices.
The firm has built up a strong network of contacts and clients in the Middle East with regular trips to the region.
Jack's placement with AHH, with whom the Private Client and Trusts team has built a strong relationship over recent years, will serve to enhance and expand the firm's connections and knowledge of the region – and its clients.
Angela Calnan said: ‘As well as giving Jack a great opportunity to further his legal experience, he will also provide us with invaluable market intelligence on how we can shape our services to meet the needs of those clients in the region.'
On his secondment Jack said: 'The secondment to Riyadh represents an incredible opportunity to embrace a completely new culture and experience life in a country in a state of rapid growth. With various developments in place as part of the Kingdom's 2030 Vision, it is clear that Saudi Arabia is set for a decade of unimaginable growth and Riyadh is set to become the cultural, financial and entertainment hub of the Middle East.
'This secondment is also a great opportunity to further develop and improve my BD capabilities whilst expanding the firm's network of contacts in the Middle East.'
