Collas Crill associates Ben Le Page and Scott Bell have been listed in eprivateclient's Top 35 Under 35 private client practitioners for 2021.
The Top 35 Under 35 men's and women's lists identify, recognise and promote the rising stars of the private wealth advisory sector in the UK and UK Crown Dependencies, whether lawyers, accountants, trustees or other professional intermediaries.
This year's lists were whittled down from more than 550 nominations. Factors considered during the judging process included the individual’s achievements over the past 12 months, career progression and the number, quality and extensiveness of nominations received.
Ben Le Page, an associate in the firm's Corporate Finance and Funds team in Guernsey, advises on all aspects of commercial law with a particular focus on banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. Ben regularly works cross-jurisdictionally on finance, corporate and trust matters with one nominator noting that he 'has always delivered work to the highest of standards, he is responsive, proactive and knowledgeable in his field and it is evident that he is set to be a leader in the legal offshore private wealth and corporate world.'
Scott Bell joined the firm earlier this year as an associate in the International Private Client and Trusts team in Jersey. Having worked exclusively in the private client sector since he was a trainee, Scott is experienced in a variety of private client matters including the preparation of wills and powers of attorney, executries and the creation and administration of trusts for wealth and succession planning purposes. He provides advice to clients across the full range of contentious and non-contentious private client issues. One nominator said of Scott: 'I have no doubt that in time he will be a force to be reckoned with. He shows great promise and is a super addition to Collas Crill's private client team in Jersey.'
