Collas Crill partner Christian Hay will be addressing the Transcontinental Trusts: International Forum 2017 in Bermuda.
Christian, who heads up the dispute resolution department in Guernsey, will be on the panel 'To Trust or not to Trust – When Trustees Turn Bad' alongside Thomas Fletcher of New Square Chambers and Natasha Kapp, partner at Carey Olsen.
The panel will be focussing on trustee misconduct and potential remedies for beneficiaries.
The event, taking place on the 4-5 May at The Fairmont Southampton, has more than 250 attendees from across the globe to discuss the latest issues and challenges affecting the trusts industry.
Christian said: "This conference is firmly in the calendar as a "must attend" event for international trust and estate practitioners and advisers, so I am very pleased to have been invited to speak.
"The agenda looks interesting, and there will be plenty of opportunity for delegates and speakers to expand their personal networks. I am looking forward to enjoying some Bermuda sunshine at a time when it is freezing cold, wet and windy in Guernsey."
