Collas Crill group partner and head of the firm's fiduciary offering, Angela Calnan, will be speaking at the "We Are Guernsey" breakfast seminar in Dubai next month, organised by Guernsey Finance.
The free event, taking place on the 3 November from 8am – 9.30am, will see Angela, who also heads up the firm's Middle Eastern practice group, speak on the types of work that her team has undertaken for private clients and trustees over the last year and the offshore structuring trends that they expect to see next year.
The event will be introduced by Guernsey Finance chief executive officer, Dominic Wheatley.
Angela said: "We continue to see a lot of work into Guernsey from the Middle East and we expect that to increase even further now in the light of the forthcoming tax legislation in the UK which has increased demand for excluded property trusts and a desire to revisit UK property holding structures.
"During the breakfast seminar, I will be focusing on the work that we have been doing recently and the trends that we are seeing and expect to see.
"It is always great to come back to Dubai having previously lived and worked in the region for several years and it is great to see so much exciting change happening and to be part of that change."
