Wayne Atkinson and Gareth Morgan, Partner and Senior Associate in our Guernsey Corporate, Finance and Funds team, will be speaking at GIFA's first academy event of the year entitled ' Private Equity 101: Structuring and Regulation'.
The event will take place at 12:30 on Thursday 28 January at Les Cotils and the pair will provide an introductory guide to what private equity is, how private equity funds are structured, operated and how they are regulated in Guernsey.
GIFA (the Guernsey Investment & Funds Association) was established in 1989 as a trade association to represent the Island’s funds industry and, following the merger with Guernsey Investment Management and Stockbrokers Association in January 2019, now represents the wider investment industry.
