Gareth is Group Partner in the Financial Services and Regulatory team, working primarily in the areas of banking and corporate finance, security, investment funds and listings.
Gareth has extensive experience with high-value, complex, multi-jurisdictional structures and regularly advises both institutional and private lenders at all stages of the lending process.
He also regularly advises clients on the establishment of all types of regulated investment fund structures, both open and closed-ended, and issuers of structured debt.
Gareth has more than 10 years of experience in the Guernsey financial services sector, and regularly advises on the establishment and licensing of all types of investment structures, both open and closed ended, as well as managers and advisers to such structures.
He also has extensive experience in all types of lending and security transactions including high value, complex, multi-jurisdictional financing structures and he regularly advises both institutional and private lenders at all stages of the lending process.
Gareth completed a secondment to Collas Crill’s Cayman office where he was working on all aspects of Cayman commercial law, but primarily mutual funds, private equity and structured finance.
Gareth was admitted as a Solicitor of England and Wales in 2009, and as a Cayman attorney in 2015. He was promoted to Group Partner in 2022. He is listed a Next Generation Partner in Legal 500.
Gareth is Vice Chair of the Guernsey Investment Fund Association's Education Sub-Committee.
