Head of Business Development, Global Insolvency and Corporate Disputes | Cayman

Overview

Henriette joined our Cayman Islands team in May 2023 and is the Head of Business Development for our Global Insolvency and Corporate Disputes team. She is responsible for developing and managing new and existing relationships in the Caribbean, US and Asia markets. 

Besides working with the Partners and other senior management to develop and realise business opportunities locally and internationally, she also assists with the implementation of marketing activities, events and conferences.

Experience

Henriette is a strong communicator and engaging project manager with more than 15 years of global, professional experience in communications, marketing, brand, PR and change management.

With her diverse industry experience including banking, insurance, government (education), start-ups, and telecommunications, Henriette demonstrates versatility and knowledge of best practices.

Background

Originally from The Netherlands, Henriette has also lived in Canada for six years before moving to the Cayman Islands with her husband and two children.

In her most recent role as Senior Manager, Strategic Communications and Planning, she led the transformation of the Bank of Montreal’s (BMO) key CEO communications channels in support of effective COVID-19 messaging.

Prior to this she managed the communication and change management strategies of BMO’s Purpose launch.

Henriette has an executive master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a master’s degree in Communication studies (MA).

Henriette has a passion for travel, snorkelling, jazz, seafood and wine, and loves serving as a board member for the Cayman charitable organization 100+ Women Who Care.
